Gorgon City- Unmissable by Sophie Polak
Gorgon City have been doing the rounds on the festival circuit this summer Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and Creamfields to name a few. Performing to crowds of 8000 they are building up a huge fan base and making a big impact in the UK charts too.
The duo from North London were only meant to be a one-off collaboration but have already had two top ten hits with ‘Ready For Your Love’ ft MNEK and ‘Here For You’ ft Laura Welsh. Their latest single ‘Unmissable’ follows that chilled summer sound with brilliant vocals from Zak Abel. It is a real holiday tune perfect for beach chilling and dancing the night away. If you’re not getting away this summer it’s a tune to turn up and imagine you are somewhere exotic.
Being two blokes with an electronic sound it is slightly inevitable someone is going to ask if they are the next Disclosure, but Gorgon City are really coming into their own and there is always enough room in the charts for dance jams like these.
Their new single ‘Unmissable’ is due out September 29th closing followed by their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Sirens’ due October 6th.
