James Bay Stripped Down Sessions
Vevo ‘Lift’ has been an ongoing project from Vevo to showcase emerging artists, introducing new fans to their music and following them through their careers. Helping fans really get in on the action with exclusive performances and interviews to really get to know the artists out there.
With alumni such as Bastille, Gorgon City, Sam Smith, Ella Eyre and many more, the next artist to take the Lift stage is the amazing James Bay.
Having won one of the most prestigious awards in the music industry, the ‘Critics Choice’ Brit Award, James is one of the industry’s hottest acts right now and his latest installment for the Lift series showcases his raw talent with a series of stripped down sessions.
James has filmed two sessions, the first, ‘Scars’ (which you can check out below) was filmed on an old school retro VHS camera, making it a really unique performance and really giving us a throwback to our childhood.The second ‘let it go’ is just as stunning with James’s flawless vocals just topping the whole thing off.
