Can’t wait for this years X Factor to begin? Then you’re in luck because today, ITV have released a short snippet of what you can expect from this years series of the show and it looks like it’s going to be a good one!
After much speculation regarding who was going to be replacing long-standing judge, Louis Walsh and former pop-princess, Mel B, we finally found out on 16th June who was joining the judging panel. Solo-artists, Rita Ora and her pal, Radio 1 presenter, Nick Grimshaw were announced as new judges for the hit show, alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell.
Once the full judges line-up was revealed, Caroline Flack and Olly Murs were then announced as presenters of the show and Rochelle Humes and Mevlin Odoom presenters of the Xtra Factor. Both duos have already worked together, as Caroline and Olly previously hosted the Xtra Factor and Rochelle and Melvin are both featured on, ‘Sweat The Small Stuff.’
ITV have since been releasing teasers for the show, with the X Factor advert airing for the first time recently on 4th August. The ad was based on the idea of, ‘The X Factor laboratory’ and played on the idea that the judges make the same comments every year and are, almost robotic and ‘programmed’ with what they are going to say. Geordie judge, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is seen saying, ”I know exactly what you’re going through pet.”
Today, a short 30-second clip, which shows footage from this years show has been released in preparation for when the new series starts, on 29th August. So to see a snippet of what you can expect from this year show, check out the X Factor teaser below! Looks good, doesn’t it?
