When you flick through your grid on Instagram do you ever think ‘I wonder what people think of my account?

If you account is full of artsy shots of food and landscape and the occasional wonky selfie, then you are probably one of the most predicable people to find on Instagram. But don’t worry, everyone enjoys looking at a piece of toast placed ever so carefully next to your tea with a sepia filter over it…

Or you might have a really strong selfie game on your profile? There is no shame! I understand that filters just make photos so much better and give you that confident boost to put it on social media, but is only acceptable on Instagram to upload three selfies a week, but you still can’t resist adding that extra one just so everyone knows just how great you really are.

If you have had the opportunity to go travelling no doubt all your followers will know about it from you hourly uploads of the beach in Thailand that you are at which will have the #nofilter under it, just so we know that’s it’s amazing there and nothing like rainy England. But even after your 3 months of exploring islands and sunning it up, you still decided to bombard your account with ‘post travelling pics’ of how you want to be back there. Basically any excuse to put up another photo of your amazing experience that no one else has had, other than the other thousands of students taking a gap year…

I may be coming across a bit bitter towards these types of ‘instagrammers’ but I always end up liking their photos. However, in all honesty, we have all done it. We’ve got the perfect selfie and wanted the world to see it and we’ve bragged about our amazing holiday that we wanted everyone to know we went on. We are all guilty of doing it, even if we don’t necessarily want to admit it…
