Taking care of your skin is very important and necessary, especially during your teen years. Some people might think that skincare products are pricey, but you can actually find very inexpensive items in supermarkets. Your skincare routine doesn’t have to be complex, in fact keeping it simple is best.

Whether you are a boy or a girl, looking after your skin is a must. Here are a few ideas of products that you can use to keep your skin clean, clear and in good condition!

  • A scrub
A scrub is essential to exfoliate your dead skin away. Sounds gross, but it’s got to be done. There are so many out there for different skin types, so find one to suit you best. You can also find scrubs for your face and body, so it is multifunctional.
  • A facial wash
Washing your face first thing in the morning is not only refreshing but it’s good for keeping your skin clean. I think this step is what people get lazy with, but it makes the most difference. It doesn’t take long to do and could also work better than your morning coffee to make you feel more awake!
  • A mask
A mask is always good to sort bad skin issues out. Depending on your skin, you may feel the need to use a mask once a week. You can get ones to hydrate dry skin, or to control grease in oily skin… whatever the issue is, you can find one to help your skin feel more normal. It’s also great for a pamper evening.
  • A moisturiser
Moisturise your face and body daily! Don’t neglect your arms and legs, they need some love too. You even get spray on moisturisers and in-shower moisturisers, if you are extra lazy.

And there you go. A simple skincare routine that you can adapt to your skins needs.
