We may be in 2016 but some things never change. The majority of people are still subject to strict stereotypes, but what happens if people can fit more than one stereotype? Madness I tell you! Lets explore a little deeper …

Yes I like sports but I also like painting my nails:

I love playing a number of sports, badminton, rock climbing, swimming and so on. I am also a big fan of wearing pretty dresses that float when I spin and I like to paint my nails.

You can call me a tomboy, but you can also call me a girly girl.

Yes I am a uni student but I’m not out every weekend:

Whenever I tell people I’m a student they always respond with the typical “Oh yeah little Miss PartyPants” or something similarly insulting. Just because I’m a student it doesn’t mean I am out every “weekend clubbing it up” or whatever the lingo is these days.

I may be a student, but I can also be viewed as pretty boring.

Yes I LOVE superheroes but I also LOVE princesses:

I’m a big fan of superheroes like Captain America but I would love to be a Disney Princess.
One evening I may sit and watch a series of Marvel films, and the next I will sit with my tiara on and sing at the top of my voice to Little Mermaid.

Yes I Love Books but I don’t hate film adaptations:

As much as I love books like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Fault In Our Stars and so on, I still really enjoy the film adaptations.

I can appreciate more than one type of adaptation.

Just goes to show you can never judge a book by its cover, or in other words, you can never judge someone by stereotypes.

Also remember that you don’t have to fit into any one stereotype. Be whoever you want to be and be happy 🙂
