If you’re a bit like me and enjoy the odd bit of console gaming now and then, it’ll be no secret that DOOM was once one of the best games around. Blasting through levels with that shotgun and totting down aliens until they split into a gloopy heap; life was just one big, beautiful sci-fi gorefest.
Never have shooters been the same since… that is, up until May when the wizards at Bethesda unleash the rebooted version of the game back into our consoles. And if you haven’t already seen, check out the new multiplayer trailer below…
All in all, the game looks insane, and one that I can only describe as a sci-fi on steroids, fuelled by two hundred cans of Redbull and sprinkled off with an icing of blood and guns. I cannot wait for it!
