Choosing a degree course can be something people find incredibly hard to do and for some people it might not! Simply because they’ve known for a very long time what they want to do and where they’ve wanted to do it! Great! This was like me! Well, especially on the whole I knew what I wanted to do section at least, choosing to go to Hull happened for me when I went to see Hull University in all its glory! It really is a beautiful University in my opinion.
The course choosing itself though can be incredibly hard. Especially if you are not sure what you do 100% want to do. I would start by sitting back and really considering your options:
- Do you 100% want to do go University? Because this really isn’t something to half heartedly go into.
- If the answer is yes however, then now you need to consider “what am I most passionate about?”
- Think about what you truly look forward to learning about, what excites you and what keeps you hooked.
- Once you’ve done this then looking round for where to study is another huge decision because you should choose somewhere that truly makes you excited to go too.. You’re going to be going to Uni and living there for a good 3, 4 or even 5 years in some cases remember.
Lets discuss option “Do you 100% want to do go University? Because this really isn’t something to half heartedly go into.” This is a huge starting point. A lot of people may feel pressured into going to University. Stop right there! Because seriously, University isn’t something you can be 50/50 about, this is something that will consume a lot of your personal life and time for a few good years to come, so going half heartedly into it will be something you do regret.. And something that will cost you an arm and a leg in student finance too! So please, if you’re looking at applying to Uni, make sure you are 100% sure! You’re dreams can come true no matter what route you take, it doesn’t always warrant going to Uni to achieve this.

Choose a degree you will absolutely put 110% effort into. If you’d love to have an advanced knowledge in business and leadership, take an online mba michigan where you can study at your preferred schedule. I chose History because it is a subject I have always been 110% sure about. I love it, learning about things from the past excites me and makes my inner nerd come out and I’m not afraid to admit that, because it is something I am so passionate about. Just like writing. So choose a course wisely, else you may regret your choice when it is just that little bit too late.
I know a lot of people will already be off on their way to University now ready to start the next years of their lives. But, the people coming up to applying for Uni this coming academic year just take them little bits of advise on board. You may find they help you out quite a bit.
