The first trailer from Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting 2 has finally been released! A long 20 year wait and we are finally seeing a reunion between Renton (Ewan McGregor) and the rest of the original cast (Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller, and Ewen Bremmer).
The trailer opens with Renton’s iconic “choose life” speech but with a twist as it includes Instagram, Facebook, and whole lot of modern lingo. Although claiming to be off heroin, the trailer appears to show the character indulging in a few, dodgy unknown substances despite the antics of 1996…
It’s set to be released in UK theaters January 27th 2017.
