Here are some luxurious Christmas coffee recipes for you try over the festive seasons…Why not try some different?

Spiced Christmas Coffee

What you’ll need

  • 34cup chilled whipping cream
  • 1cup freshly ground coffee (preferable a mild roast)
  • 2teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 12tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 5teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 1teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1tablespoon brandy
  • 1tablespoon sugar
  • 7cups water

Method

  1. Using an electric mixer, beat whipping cream in a large bowl to soften.
  2. Add powdered sugar and brandy and beat well.
  3. Place ground coffee, cardamom, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in coffee filter.
  4. Using a spoon, mix gently.
  5. Add water to the coffee maker and brew according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Divide coffee among 8 cups.
  7. Garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream and serve immediately.

Christmas Coffee Cocktail

What you’ll need

  • 4 ounces strong black coffee
  • 1 1/2 ounces amaretto liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce schnapps (butterscotch)
  • 1 ounce cocoa
  • whipped cream (fresh)
  • grated chocolate (for garnish)

Method

  1. Combine strong coffee and liqueurs in a glass. Stir to combine and top with fresh whipped cream. Garnish with grated chocolate.
  2. Serve warm or over ice.

Gingerbread Coffee

What you’ll need

  • 1 cup ground coffee
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons clove
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg

Method

  1. Stir together ground coffee and spices until well combined. Store in a dark, airtight container at room temperature until ready to use.
  2. Brew coffee as you normally would. Use 4 ½ tablespoons of coffee per 6 cups of water.
