Eric Festival present their latest creative arts and careers event focusing specifically on Digital and Tech. It will be held at Bloomberg, London later this month.
The event will be focusing closely on Digital & Tech and is brought to you by the Mayor of London’s Digital Talent Programme; a brand new £7 million initiative to discover the next generation of digital and tech professionals which will meet the growing digital skills shortage; and it’s totally free to attend!
The festival focuses on a range of creative subjects including Music, Publishing, Broadcast Media, Fashion, Film, Performing Arts, Advertising, and Marketing. The latest event, which will be held at Bloomberg’s brand new futuristic building in the heart of London, is expected to host 100 diverse young talents who will have the incredible opportunity to work and gain valuable experience alongside reps from major companies such as Amazon, Livity, and even Google.
Attendees can expect a variety of hands-on workshops, industry networking, live demos, plus food and drink. Partners of the event include Bloomberg, Amazon, Google, StoryBot, NCC, Holitio, and Kazendi. This event is designed to introduce young tech enthusiasts to a professional and digitally creative world whilst demonstrating how to start a career in these fields.
So many young people want to be creative after leaving education, but just don’t know where to begin. Eric Festival aims to educate 16 – 25 year-olds on the career options and pathways available within the creative industries. The ‘alternative creative careers fair’ is here to show creative young people what jobs there are and how to start looking for them!
