Strangely, most life lessons we learn are found in children’s books; and it’s very unlikely we noticed that when we were little ones! It’s wasn’t until you grew older and wiser that life’s greatest lessons became clear, and that’s when we truly learn to appreciate the poignant words from children’s literature. So, to celebrate International Children’s Book Day, here are a few of our favourite quotes from the novels we used to read.
