Go Ape has launched ‘ The Plummet ’ at Alexandra Palace

Thrill seekers unite as Go Ape launches ‘The Plummet’, a brand-new super charged addition to their Alexandra Palace location. The final (and optional) summit is the adrenaline pumping and dramatic 16m drop. Rather than zip lining the 79 metres back down to the ground, those brave enough can take on the challenge and will leap into the air and free fall until their harness kicks in to bring them back to the ground. Go Ape’s first vertical drop experience will leave you feeling seriously exposed. The course demands physical and mental strength to take the step, it’s a true leap of faith.Plummet

You can head to the capital this summer with your tribe for a blood pumping 1-3 hours of action-packed adventure in the heart of North London. With varying height and difficulty, Alexandra Palace has a challenge for everyone. Set in the historic grounds of the beautiful Palace, the aerial adventures feature sensational views of the famous city skyline including Canary Wharf, St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard.  The course will stretch your comfort zone and show you a new high-level perspective.

Opened in 1873 – as an entertainments venue for Victorian London – Alexandra Palace has been at the centre of extraordinary events for over 140 years, including the first TV broadcast by the BBC in 1936. It maintains its original enterprising spirit by hosting an eclectic mix of live music, sport, culture and leisure events.

Go Ape’s Park Adventure is the brand’s newest style of rope course, combining a range of challenging and exhilarating activities. Alexandra Palace’s Park Adventure is a unique custom built, triple-tiered adventure hub which is the ultimate test of balance and nerve. Featuring challenging obstacles at increasing heights with a free-fall Tarzan Swing and the dramatic 46ft sheer drop at the end called The Plummet.
