There’s nothing that quite beats finding the perfect recipe or being inspired to whip up something new when the mood strikes. And no wonder, with food occupying our thoughts for a whole third of our day on average!
Because of this, I always find myself daydreaming about what to make next. Baking is my personal favourite but coming up with a dessert to experiment with can be tricky. Luckily, my favourite foodies over on instagram always have my back.

Based in LA, these guys bring a fresh but retro twist to the classic cookie. Humble but underrated, sometimes just being reminded of how much fun chocolate chips can be without the need for confetti or sparklers is refreshing. Plus I just love the aesthetic!

Looking to try something vegan but delicious? You won’t have to look too far when it comes to the gorgeous dishes featured on this page. Finding some good vegan pancakes is always the best, even as a vegetarian, and these ones are my ultimate go to.
Tip – pick a fruit and make it the centre of your dish. For instance, don’t just sprinkle blueberries but make some blueberry compote to go along with it all.

I discovered this page when I was trying to find ideas for Halloween baking last year. Here I found the most adorable Pusheen designs that I coveted instantly and just had to try out. Mine turned out a little less neat but yummy nevertheless. For now, I think I’ll admire the sugary perfection here from afar and leave the baking to the real master!

Want some quirky ideas featuring the most fun of all chocolate? Look no further! Smarties are always posting fun ways to add a new touch to a simple recipe. A personal recent favourite were the pizza cookies which me and my grandma made for a surprise party (spoiler, they ended up being a huge hit). A sure way to brighten any rainy British weekend.
