Mockingjay Part 1 Trailer by Georgina Rowe
The Mockingjay Part 1 trailer is here! Over the past few months we’ve been given two teaser trailers from Lionsgate Studios, addressing us as if we belong within the fictional world of The Hunger Games. Finally a (marginally longer) trailer has been released for the upcoming ‘Mockingjay Part 1’ movie starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.
The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins is a trilogy which is being adapted into 4 films, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. Mockingjay, the last book in the series, has been split into two parts, the first of which will be released on November 21st.
The trailer is partially narrated by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, which adds a lot of poignancy to the clip due to his unexpected death earlier this year, also indicating that Lionsgate haven’t cut his part out of the film, a relief to all.
The trailer was uploaded yesterday (July 27th) to much excitement from Hunger Games fans around the world, with the title “Our Leader the Mockingjay”, leaving everyone anxiously awaiting November 21st when the film will be released!
