As a student you can sometimes be a bit tight for cash. The recipes below are easy money-savers, so here are 5 quick mug recipes!

Coffee Cup Quiche

This quick recipe can be a fancier alternative to breakfast or a summer night in lifesaver, but it isn’t any more complex than a sandwich. It does require than you buy a few extra ingredients, but it’s more than worth it.

Sausage & Cheese Spaghetti Dinner

This recipe does require a little more effort than some (for instance cooking parts separately in the microwave), but the end result is delicious. With fantastic Italian flavours, this recipe tastes more gourmet than budgeted.

Omelette in a Mug

This is probably the simplest recipe but has the added flavours of chicken and bell peppers to add some substance.


Coffee Cup Chilaquiles

If you want something a little different, but that doesn’t require much effort, then try this easy Mexican recipe. All it requires are a few tortilla chips and some extras, and you’ve got a tasty snack.

Nutella Mug Cake

And finally, we will finish with a dessert recipe! This mug cake uses chocolate and nutella for flavouring, providing a smooth, hazelnut taste. It doesn’t take too ong, and is much quicker than making a full cake.
