I know what you’re all thinking; it’s a massive four months until the beauty that is Bestival, but we can’t sleep at night without dreaming of the Isle of White musical affair. It’s almost a whole summer away, but with a line up that’s bigger than any other over Britain, it’s no wonder people are getting as excited as they are. From new stars, to veterans of the sound world, Bestival has it all, with an array of picturesque landscape to go with it. So, to ease our pre-fest jitters that little bit more, we are going to reveal to you guy’s our four artists to watch and with that, pick out who we think will shine out over the two day affair.

4.) Annie Mac
With a super busy summer lined up for the amazing DJ Annie Mac, Bestival is looking to be one of her highlights this year. Our friend from Radio 1 recently had a word with us in our summer edition of our magazine and with that, revealed everything about her favourite moments in the booth as well as her top gig venues. Not only is Annie busy, but the Irish lass is certainly going to be donning the deck’s to make the crowd move. From bouncing tunes, to chill out vibes, Annie is going to bring an amazing energy to the Isle of White.

3.) Action Bronson
Sliding straight in off the back of his mega album ‘Mr. Wonderful’, Bronson from Queens, New York, is set to cause some more havoc on stage these coming months in the festival season. The chef turned rap superstar has posed some seriously hot lyrics in his catchy single’s and his new tune ‘Baby Blue’, featuring Chance the Rapper is clear to see why. His presence when performing has been highlighted all over the web as well, because he not only undertakes some frowned-upon behaviour, but he’s also not a fan of people invading his stage space either. Action Bronson is definitely one to watch.

2.) Ella Eyre
What a fantastic year for young Ella! The twenty-one year old songstress is going from strength to strength, and with a voice as powerful as hers, it’s no wonder at it. Her tremendous fresh tune ‘Together’ is a certain showcase of her angelic vocals and not only that, her sound is so energetic that she could perform on any track and smash it. We can imagine you’d hear her hitting the high notes at the back of the field and with the beauty of her voice, you’ll be unbelievably mesmerised. Not only is Ella Eyre going to be one to keep an eye out on this year, but she’s going to be in the lime light for many years to come. Congratulations Ella and we can’t wait to hear more!

1.) The Chemical Brothers
The time has come to galvanise, Bestival. The dynamic duo of EDM is back and to go with it, they’re bringing up a brand spanking album in July too. Playing at only three British festivals this summer, The Chemical Brother’s are one’s to goggle at whilst they are still about, so make sure you snap up this rare moment in history. Originating in 1991, the guy’s have been bringing funky, psychedelic beats to our sound systems for years and they’ll be getting the Isle of White rumbling this coming September too. With a revived and modernised set, they are not only performing, but also headlining, meaning for some huge memories. Word’s literally can’t express the tingling, excitement we’re feeling for this set.

So there it is, summing up just four of our ones to watch this coming Bestival. Less than one hundred and twenty days to go and a short summer’s wait, we are literally on the edge of our seats. Bestival, you do know how to tease people and we are most definitely buzzing for it, see you in September and until then, we’ll keep watching last year’s Desert Island Disco After Movie.
