It’s almost upon us! Are you ready to get lost in an emerald green forest, where you can kiss your ear’s with some of the most talented musicians to date? Well this coming June and July, you can, at the UK’s very own ‘Forest Live’. Set in several of Britains finest forestries, there will certainly be one near you.
I genuinely can’t think of a better way to spend a warm, summer’s evening and with over a decade of renowned history, you won’t want to miss out on this spectacle. Acts are ranging from the vocally powerful, multi award winning Brit, Sam Smith right through to the best Irish band, The Script and not only that, they’ll be joined by some musical legends to support them on stage too.
With all the ingredients to complete a perfect party, ‘Forest Live’ has seen some legends in the making grace the stage, and now it’s looking to show some more. Ed Sheeran has been one to watch in the years gone by and now the stage has been set for the UK’s own, Tom Odell. The 24 year old from West Sussex has seven tree engulfed affairs and with that, he’s going be a talent to spot. Soulful, talented and a real performer, you best catch him whilst he’s performing live.
As an independent programme on the summer calendar, ‘Forest Live’ is organised by the Forestry Commission in order to bring a new audience to the beauty of nature and with the income generated, they make sure it counts. Refurbishing, protecting and improving England’s woodlands, it is their goal to make sure the nature and bliss lives on, as well as generating a greatly relaxed night for many to enjoy.
If you’re yet to snap up any remaining tickets for one of these wonderful events, head over to www.forestry.gov.uk/music and be sure not to miss out on one of the highlights of this year’s musical feasts.
