No one wants to be forced to leave their home, but unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth may not have much choice in the matter according to recent reports…
The queen began her reign in 1952 and whilst workers have carried out minor upkeep repairs on the estate since this time, the palace has not been fully redecorated.
Tax payers will be pleased to hear that the Queens property needs approximately 150 million pounds spent on it in order to carry out the necessary renovations. Amongst these is the removal of asbestos.
Fortunately for our Royal Highness, if she does have to temporarily move out of Buckingham Palace, she has several different properties she can stay in for the meantime.
