Future Talent Awards

A fresh new weeks begun and the weather is still divine, which makes coming back to work even worse, right? Yup. Be stuck in an office all day, or outside in the sunshine turning your skin a rather scrumptious shade of brown… we know which one we’d prefer, which is exactly why we thought we’d refer you to some of the best take fake tanning products out there at the moment. That way, you can have some much needed Monday Motivation, by feeling safe in the knowledge that you can still achieve that gorgeous even glow, even though you’re not actually outside in the sunshine… (We know, it’s not ideal, but it’s the best we could do!)

1. Dove Summer Glow – £5.25 (currently £2.62 at Boots)
This product gradually darkens your skin to give you a subtle, even colour. Not only does it make sure you don’t turn out to look like a tangerine, it also helps give your skin moisture – perfect for those dry summer months. Even better, because it’s so subtle, this product can be used during the winter too! Oh and did we mention… look at the prize!

2. St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse – £30.50 (currently £20.33 at Boots)
Although one of the pricer fake tanning products, this bronzing moose certainly has its benefits! This tanning formula dries instantly, meaning you can easily see where to apply more mousse for even application, resulting in zero streaks! Hate the smell of fake tan? With St. Tropez you can barely smell that fake tanning scent. Instead, it is replaced with a refreshing fragrance.

3. Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel – £20.00 at Boots
This self-tanner is fairly pricey, but sometimes you pay for what you get! This tanning product is instant, so you’ll see a warm golden glow pretty much straight away and you don’t even have to wander round the house naked, you can put your clothes on right away! This fake tan is non-oily and gives you a golden colour for all year round. If that wasn’t good enough… it helps you stay youthful for longer, as it contains ingredients that prevent your skin from ageing!

4. St. Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse – £4.99 at Boots
So we’re back to cheap because we know we all secretly love a bargain! Not only is the product a steal at just under five pounds, unlike a lot of fake tanning products, it claims it is suitable for all skin types. This mosuse is also meant to be longer lasting, meaning you can spend less time worrying about reapplying your tan and more time out in the sunshine showing it off! We reckon at that prize… you might as well give it ago!

5. Soltan Beautiful Bronze Self Tan Dry Mist Spray – £8.99 at Boots
Lastly, we thought we’d recommend a self-tanning spray instead of a mousse for you guys to try. This ones also an average price too. Due to its ultra fine mist, you should achieve an even, streak-free tan. Like the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, this product also has a nice summery scent!

Abodus - Live until 29th Sep 24

So now you know some fake tanning products to try, why not give them ago and see if you can cheer yourself up on a gloomy Monday? P.s If you do turn orange, we’re not to blame! Oh and do send us a picture… we like to have giggle…
