Nirvana fans, Kurt Cobain fans and people of the punk era alike, get yourself geared up for November this year because there is something special in the pipeline coming your way. Many of you may have heard that there is a brand new biopic indulging into Kurt’s life being released then, but on the back of that, an unheard solo album is coming too, and its set to highlight the lead man’s lighter side.

Yet to be titled, the album is scheduled to be the soundtrack to ‘Montage of Heck’ which is the biopic to be released, and director Brett Morgan has stated he went into deeper search after filming to bring up a few old archives for Kurt’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. The chief director has quoted “It feels like you’re in Kurt’s house, watching him create… The lyrics are really playful”

The album and biopic combined are really going to look further into the personality of Kurt, and with that, are truly deepening the understanding of his music and the way he lived. A genuine trademark of the 90’s era, Kurt has still got a massive following today and his music will live on long in the memory. From the days of Nirvana, right through to the release of this solo edition, music history has certainly been made. Check out the video below which is the initial trailer released before ‘Montage of Heck’ was briefly shown in the cinema back in May…
