Sheffield Parkway is a busy dual carriage way that takes road users into South Yorkshire City, so many of its regular commuters were rather surprised (to say the least) about what they saw on their drive to work this morning.
It seems one unsuspecting wife (known as Lisa) has recently been cheated on by her husband (known as Paul), so decided to get her own back by publishing a rather public sign.
The sign read, ‘To my cheating husband Paul. You deserve each other. When you get home I won’t be there. Enjoy your drive to work! Lisa.’
The 15ft x 10ft sign, which is said to have been put up at around 11pm on Tuesday, has since attracted rather a large amount of attention and drivers have already posted support for Lisa on Twitter. One tweet read, ‘Saw the sign on the #sheffieldparkway on my way to work! Good for you Lisa!
