It’s that time of year again when everyone is starting their New Years Resolutions. It is difficult when deciding what you want to try and keep up for a whole year. 52 weeks. 365 days. 525600 minutes. It’s a long time to dedicate yourself to something! It’s better to set something small than something you know you will only do till the end of January.. if your motivated enough to last that long!

As a student myself, I think it is basically impossible to stick to a Resolution, but every year I try, which is the most important thing… the thought was there… which I remind myself in May when I still haven’t downloaded that relaxation app, that I was suppose to do e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y.

Your Resolution can be anything, from to stop biting you nails, to something as simple as to take five minutes a day to reflect on what you have achieved, or as extravagant as not drinking for the whole year, or even just attempting to do ‘dry January’… why did I even suggest that?! I know no student will even attempt it! But if there are a few of you are dedicated enough to do it – you can do anything!

As the famous saying goes ‘slow and steady wins the race’ and this is definitely the cause when it comes to your New Years Resolutions.

I wish you the best of luck – fingers crossed you can keep it up through out the WHOLE of 2016!
