It also helps create a calming atmosphere to study in and it creates softer lighting so it doesn’t hurt your eyes when doing those last minute assignments. A notice board has so many uses. You can hang jewellery up on open to create a different look and also see what jewellery you have and not rummage around a box or dish on the desk. Pin nots and timetables. If you are someone you likes to see what assignments are due in near your desk and not have to keep looking in a diary, a notice board is perfect for you. You can also pin pictures onto it to create your own mood board or picture board, this is a great way to show your memories and your friends and family which you can look at if you are feeling a little down and a little homesick.

Cushions are a great way to personalise your rom and make it a lot cosier. There are so many different styles, patterns and colours that the choice is endless. Mix and match or go for a colour scheme. You can put them on the floor to create a comfy reading area or put them on your bed for a comforting and relaxing look and feel to the room.

This may seem like a weird thing to use to personalise your dorm room. But wrapping is so versatile. You can use it to decorate filing systems and books, you can put it on your desk, to make the desk look a lot more appealing rather than an eyesore.
