Healthy Snacks

Throughout the day, you’ll often find yourself snacking. Whether you’re genuinely hungry, or just bored, it can be difficult to find snacks that aren’t crisps or a chocolate bar… Here are some ideas to keep your snacking a little more healthy and interesting!

Popcorn – The great thing about popcorn is it’s versatility; caramel, salty, sweet, toffee, the options are endless! And it’s great for your digestive system and healthier than those crisps you keep eating!

Smoothie – Again, they can be completely versatile! Berries, veggie, chocolate, whatever you please! And of course, they can be full of good nutrition!

Veggie dips – Sticks of cucumber or carrot dipped in hummus in to die for! Hummus is packed with protein, and when has cucumber and carrot ever been bad for you?

Fruit and nut – Fruit and nut mixtures can be bought in your local supermarket! They’re full of good fats and keep you feeling full.

Dark chocolate – If you love your chocolate, try switching to dark chocolate! Studies show that dark chocolate is actually good for you and lowers the risk of heart disease.

Apple dip – Cut up and apple and dip it in peanut butter; it sounds crazy, but don’t knock it until you try it!
