4 Simple Daily Health Tips

Our day-to-day health is often forgotten in the chaos of our busy lifestyles. Most of us just about manage to brush our teeth before we flee the house for work or a lecture, but brushing your teeth once or twice a day isn’t looking after our health! We’ve done the leg work, and have come up with 4 simple daily health tips to keep you thriving!

BREAKFAST
It’s shocking how many of us go without some grub first thing in the morning! The myth that not eating or skipping a meal is a way to lose weight is history, a healthy, decent sized breakfast will boost your metabolism! It will also give you that energy boost you so desperately need in the early hours as well as a mood boost. It allows you to portion your meals properly throughout the day and eat less! Be sure to get your fair share of protein first thing in the morning, we recommend eggs!

WATER
Drinking the recommended amount of water a day (2 liters or 8 glasses) will do wonders for your body and mind! It relieves fatigue, improves digestion and prevents constipation, flushes out waste and toxins, and also aids in weight loss! When you think that our bodies are 60% water, it’s easy to see why drinking the recommended volume of water is so damn important!

3 MEALS
It’s a much easier way to spread out your calories and keep a rough count of them. Simply snacking and grazing throughout the day will result in over eating especially if it’s foods high in fat! It’s important to eat 3, good sized healthy meals a day to keep your body functioning efficiently .i.e your metabolism! Skipping meals is not the way to lose weight or keep healthy.

EXERCISE
There are 1440 minutes in a day, and you only need 30 of them to make a great work out! 30 minutes of decent exercise will release endorphins giving you that much needed mood boost and will, obviously, keep your body fit and healthy.
