Getting bored of the same old Christmas drinks every year? Beer and mulled wine…Spice things up a bit and get creative with some new festive drinks! If you’re having friends or family round for the festive celebrations, these perfect festive Christmas cocktails will be a treat!

Raspberry Martini Fizz

Ingredients

  • 350ml Martini Rosso
  • 150ml Gin
  • 4 tsp icing sugar
  • 24 frozen raspberry
  • 2 bottles chilled Prosecco or other sparkling wine

Method: Serves 8 with enough for a top-up

  1. Mix the Martini and Gin and chill before serving. Chill the wine glasses or champagne glasses also.
  2. When your guests are due to arrive soon, poor 1/2 tea spoon of icing sugar in each glass.
  3. Pour over the Martini and Gin mixture and add some frozen raspberries.
  4. Then top up with the sparkling wine before serving.

Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer

Abodus - Live until 29th Sep 24

Ingredients

  • 200ml pomegranate juice
  • sprig of rosemary
  • Prosecco
  • 4 rosemary sprigs (optional)

Method: Makes 4

  1. Put the pomegranate juice in a small saucepan with a sprig of rosemary. Bring it to a boil and reduce it for a few minutes until it’s syrupy. Chill the mixture.
  2. Fill four champagne or wine glasses with 1 part pomegranate syrup and top up with 3 parts Prosecco. Garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig if you wish.

Vodka & Cranberry Blush

Ingredients

  • 200ml each of Vodka and Cointreau
  • 600ml cranberry juice
  • 400ml orange juice
  • strips of peel from 2-3 lime
  • crushed ice to serve

Method: Serves 12

  1. Pour the Vodka and Cointreau into a jug, then add the cranberry juice and orange juice and stir very well.
  2. Fill 12 glasses with the crushed ice, then pour over the cocktail. Finish each glass with a strip of lime peel.
