I don’t think I actually know of someone who dislikes Nutella! I could eat a jar of it with a spoon…It’s just AMAZING! However, those days of getting caught with your finger in the Nutella jar and eating it with a spoon are gone, now it’s all about making recipes with everyone’s favourite chocolate spread! Here are some of the best recipes you could possibly make.


Chocolate and Nutella Surprise Muffins

What you’ll need

  • 1 cup of caster sugar
  • 1 3cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1cup of cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1cup of milk
  • 1teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 100g butter (melted)
  • 12 teaspoons Nutella

Method: Serves 12

1.) Preheat oven to 200’C/400’F. In a bowl, combine the caster sugar and add all other dry ingredients. Mix well.

2.) In another bowl combine the egg, yogurt, milk and vanilla. Add this mixture to the dry mixture with the melted butter, stir well.

3.) Separate mixture evenly in a well greased muffin tray and add 1 spoon of Nutella to each section.

4.) Bake for 15 minutes until the muffins are cooked well and have risen. ENJOY!

Nutella Hot Chocolate

What you’ll need

  • 3 tablespoons of Nutella cups of milk
  • 1 and a half cups of milk

Method: Serves 1

1.) Place the milk and Nutella into a saucepan and heat until the ingredients are blended. Yum…Enjoy Nutella hot chocolate!

Nutella Mousse

What you’ll need

  • 1 of heavy cream
  • 1teaspoon of instant coffee granules
  • 1cup of Nutella

Method: Serves 4

1.) Combine heavy cream and coffee granules in a small mixing bowl. Stir for about 5 minutes and then add the Nutella.

2.) Beat with electric mixer on medium for 1 minute.

3.) Scrape sides and bottom of bowl, and continue beating for about 1 minute until very soft peaks form.

4.) Divide evenly into individual serving dishes, and chill at least 4 hours.
