Bournemouth, a beach town on England’s south coast, is home to Bournemouth University. A student in Bournemouth may travel to local beaches and enjoy the vibrant club and pub scene, or they can go shopping. Here’s what you can do during a day in Bournemouth.

Bournemouth Parks – Lower Gardens

Bournemouth Gardens extend from Bournemouth Pier to the Poole-Bournemouth border. The gardens stretch for three kilometres. They are all part of the Bourne Valley Greenway and are listed in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens as Grade II. There are several activities available, such as Classic mini-golf, a bandstand, refreshment kiosks, a street food corner location, an aviary, and an art display. Alternatively, you may simply enjoy the scenery and observe how the foliage’s colours change with the seasons.

Russell Coates Art Gallery and Museum

Russell Coates Art Gallery and Museum is a must-see for everyone who likes art and is interested in history. This is the private residence of Sir Martin Russell Coates and his wife Lady Annie, world travellers. This is one of the last Victorian manor houses to be built. Set aside 2 hours to see the whole Art Gallery and Museum. As a student, admission is just £4 provided you present a current student ID card. When you get the opportunity, visit this Gallery and Museum with your friends.
