The first game on the list is a Japanese-inspired, Monster Hunter-style game which lets you hunt down terrifying creatures in an expansive landscape. The game is developed by EA and has a storyline which is 30 hours long. 

Wild Hearts takes you and your companions to a land where you must explore and fight for survival. The graphics are imposing, and one can certainly have an entertaining time while playing Wild Hearts.

Resident Evil 4 (Remake)

Dead Island 2

Are you a fan of the Dead Island franchise? If so, then 2023 just got more exciting for you! The game takes place in a zombie-ridden LA and is an action RPG with a straightforward task for the players: to “thrive, not just survive”. 

The game will let you play with six different heroes, each having a unique skill. The heroes’ storylines seem extremely fun, so ensure you have your weapons ready for an all-out zombie war.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

If you are a fan of DC villains, then Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the game you want to give a shot. You get to team up as a squad of four and can choose some of the biggest and baddest villains of DC. 

Some of the characters available for players would be Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and many more. The game’s plot takes place in the Arkham Universe, and we can expect some intense and entertaining storylines from the game itself.

Flintlock: Siege of Dawn

The next game on the list is an open-world RPG adventure that lets you play as Nor, who is accompanied by her mysterious companion, Enki. The game takes you on a wild journey in which you have to master magical abilities, an arsenal of weaponry and more as you are humanity’s last stand. 

The game’s storyline shows that the doors of the afterlife are being opened by gods, and to survive and live, all you have to do is embrace violence.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

If there’s a game which is PlayStation exclusive and is worth playing, then it has to be the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 lets you play as both Peter Parker and Miles’ versions of Spiderman as you take on new villains. 

Some of the villains you will find in the game are Kraven the Hunter and Venom. Though much isn’t revealed about the game yet, but it’s safe to say that just like the other Spiderman games, the bar of this game is set up high!

Redfall

If you have been following Arkane Studios, then you must be well aware of Redfall, their latest co-op, open-world shooter. The game takes you to the island of Redfall, Massachusetts, which is captured by vampires who have entirely blocked out the sun.  and have complete control over the island

You are trapped on the island with a few survivors with the mutual goal of taking down the vampires with innovative machinery and tactical plans. Make good use of UV Blasters and Stake guns to ensure you survive even the most brutal battle against vampires.

Street Fighter 6

  • Developers: Capcom

Let’s be honest; the one thing that 2023 lacks is classical fighting games. And to cover that all up, this June, Capcom is releasing Street Fighter 6. There are three game modes in this version of Street Fighter. 

You will find the classic fighting ground, perfect for old-school Street Fighter action. The second category is World Tour, the game’s campaign mode, which is expected to have a fantastic storyline. Lastly, you can also have multiplayer action in the Battle Hub of the game.
