You don’t need to head out of Birmingham to find Adventure, hidden just two miles from the centre of the city is Ackers Adventure an activity centre with a difference, were set in an Urban environment with Graffiti and the sounds of city life.
Skiing – Our Ski slope is the only one in Birmingham perfect to Brush up on your skills, or if you fancy trying it out book onto a starter lesson where one of our coaches will get you on the slippery path to being able to ski. All equipment is included in the price. For a bit of fun we have recently introduced tubing on the main slope.
Climbing – we have 3 climbing walls on site the small wall we use for beginners and also for Wheelchair abseiling, the pyramid a classic 80’s structure and then the 20m tower you could practise your lead climbing on here. Also on the tower you can test your nerve on the Fan descender or feel the wind in your hair on the zip wire.
Disc golf – Have tried it yet? Already established in the rest of the world the UK is now catching on to this new sport. Disc or frisbee golf is a game played similar to golf but instead of clubs and a ball you have a disc. We have nine holes and you have to complete the course in the least number of shots, great fun with a group of friends. Everyone can through a Frisbee Can’t they???
Water sports – We have own basin and Access to the Grand Union Canal As a British Canoeing centre we offer trips and sessions in Canoes, Kayaks and Bell boats.
Archery – With two Archery ranges and all the gear we can teach you the basics why not get a group of friends together for some friendly competition.
Work – If you have an NGB qualification in any of the above activities then give us a call we are always looking for Sessional instructors.
